Matthew Swan blitzes field and wins the Montgomery Classic at Arrowhead Country Club. Matthew Swan, from Montgomery, AL, played flawless golf for three days, making only one bogey. His 65-66-68 three day total was good enough for a 8 shot win over Wyn Lakes Pro, Steve Cutler, who shot 71-69-67 for a 207 total. Third place belonged to Kyle Sapp of Gardendale, AL who was at 209 and had a double eagle in his second round 68 on the par 5 18th hole. Sapp hit a Driver for his second shot on the hole. Fourth place, with a score of 212, was tied by Todd Bailey of Mobile, AL and Chris Devlin of Panama City Beach, FL. Swan's first event on the Emerald Coast Golf Tour was his first professional win for the former University of Alabama golfer. Click here for photos.
