​Brandon Pierce Wins in Dothan!!!

Brandon Pierce is the 2019 Dothan Country Club Champion. His rounds of  65 67-66 198 was good for a 3 shot victory over Zack Pritchett of Ripley MS who finished at 201. Pierce was playing in his second Emerald Coast Tour event and got his first professional win. The former L S U golfer started the final day one shot back of Scott Strohmeyer. Pierce started strong with a eagle birdie start and shot a 31 on the front nine and despite a double bogie on 18 he had a great final round to get the win. Jacob Harper and Jake Tucker and Calub Maraman and local favorite Calum Masters also finished at 202 to tie for third.

Joe Stepnes finished fifth at 205 on the par 70 course which is the home to the world famous Future Master junior golf tournament. It was a honor to have Press Thorton there at the event. He is the founder of the Future Masters.

The Pro Am was won by Joe Stepnes Doug Marbes, Dennis Grater and Terry Bowles. Thanks to Kevin Klien and John Fountain for their help with the event.
