Walsh Wins at Highland Oaks in Playoff!!!
Thomas Walsh is the new champion in the Emerald Coast Tour event at Highland Oaks in Dothan AL. He beat Sam Love in a playoff to get his first professional win. He had rounds of 69-69- 138 to finish the event at 6 under. Sam Love was in the clubhouse after shooting 71-67. They went one hole in the playoff after a birdie by Walsh. First round leader Hunter Hamrick finished third one stroke back after a 71 and ended up at 139. Stephen Franken and Philip Knowles tied for 4th at 143.
This was a great warmup for the guys as they get ready for the PGA Korn Ferry Q school in two weeks.
