Montenegro Wins at Blackstone!!!

Jesus Montenegro got his first win of the year on the Emerald Coast tour winter tour event at Blackstone in DeFuniak Springs FL. His rounds of 68-71-70-209 was just good enough to edge Jacob Harper. Harper had rounds of 68-72-70-210. Montenegro had a one shot lead over Harper going into the par 5 18th hole. Harper had already made birdie to tie Montenegro but Montenegro rolled in a 8 footer to get the victory. Montenegro who is from Argentina went to school at Jacksonville State currently lives in Birmingham AL. Logan Perkins of McDonough GA finished third at 214. Jay McLuen of Forsyth GA was fourth at 215. The Blackstone course played tough on the final round as conditions were a much tuffer.
